cc is getting dry and I feel we need to change it (ffa is what keeps the mature base of the game together of sorts.)

They've added new maps like Halls and Warden, along with the seasonal maps (the winter one with the train, the sprung map, the beach map, and idk what the halloween map is. maybe I just forgot it.)

But I agree that we should have many more maps, even for ranked players. (not a huge fan of warden. too many places to fall and die. we need less ways to die.

I was thinking: - Month: idea (brief description) map [name of map] <--- FORMAT

- January: Candyland (the board game) map [Candyland]

- February: Valentines (maybe a candy idea this map name derives from old greek philosophy which kinda means what the world Love means today.) map [Xenia]

- March: Charm (like a clover forest and cloud city map with rainbow paths connecting) map [Lucky]

- April: Confusion (think of it as a map with impossible shapes and paths like upside down stairs, mazes, and such.) map [Geometric]

- May: Release (School ending, and it is a giant map of a child's messy bedroom and a lot of school supplies scattered) map [Finals]

- June: Splash (give this map a huge water park with endless fun and maybe a playground/ground parkour made of rocks for players to enjoy it!) map [Waterpark]

- July: Desert (what would be a desert without scattered oasis's with rocks and palm trees! don't forget to add a small desert village to hide from the scorching sun!) map [Dunes]

- August: Party (A perfect way to end the summer with a large modern villa overlooking the ocean, big pool, lounges, indoor rec, and a small beach to enjoy the sunset.) map [Villa]

- September: Station (a busy subway with trains, terminals, and lots of floors with balconies and stairs. Who wouldn't like a Farmer's market inside a section? map [Subway]

- October: Spooky (A giant haunted mansion with lot's of hiding spots, a bunch of floors, a spooky night, along with a scary front yard and a corn maze behind.) map [Manor]

- November: Thanksgiving (Farm with autumn trees, lot's of little trails leading places, a big barn, a small farmhouse, and Juan's Clubhouse hidden somewhere.) map [Farm]

- December: Castle (A giant beautiful Ice castle, a beautiful forest around it along with a giant christmas tree and a cozy cottage with a snowman outside.) map [Holiday]

- Hey CubeCraft! If you need a builder, I've got you. feel free to DM me on discord: orbitle - and I can send you some schematics I have drawn up.

I'd also be Delighted to create them in a private world and see what you'd think. :)

* Hope my ideas are enough to spark some imagination!

Honesty, I admire the creativity that goes into developing new concepts, but there's something we've all observed in FFA: regardless of how many new maps are introduced, the majority of players stick to the same few such as Savannah, Tropical, mayan, Canals, and Kingdom etc.

Why? Because they are simple, flat, and PvP-friendly. When maps become overly vertical or complex, players tend to avoid them. In a gamemode like FFA, quick and clean fights take priority over visual variety or decorative designs.

Even when new maps are added, the real challenge lies in making them balanced and enjoyable for combat. If a map feels clunky, unbalanced, or awkward for PvP, it often ends up being ignored in the rotation.

Take Sprung as an example it's relatively flat and has open space, yet it's still unpopular. This shows that many players simply prefer the feel and familiarity of the classic maps, regardless of how well-designed new ones might be.

That’s why, before focusing on ideas like themes or reworks, we need to first understand what makes a good FFA map truly popular. It’s not just about how a map looks it’s about movement flow, visibility, space to duel, and overall comfort for PvP.

Yes Maps switch should be quicker than 3 months to be honest it gets boring after a while.
