The hotbar item can mostly be substituted with in game commands:
/sb profiles, quests, settings, dimensions(overworld, nether, hub), and /leave (main lobby).
The only 2 things you can't achieve with commands is to "Place Shop" and "Skyblock loot"
We have an option in settings to disable the hotbar item but it has to be re-enableed any time we'd need to place a shop.
So we could really use a command to either open the Gui "skyblock menu" that opens when you click the hotbar item, /skyblock menu
Or one to place a shop in the world, /skyblock vendor
