Hello!
It's Deeds here, and today I will be going step by step through MY Eggwars guide for SOLO mode.
This guide will specifically be for: OP Mode. Normal or Half Health.
Why not get started? :3

Kits
For starters, you probably are going to want some kits.
Well, what are kits?
Kits are things you can buy with in-game points to give a slight "Boost" you could call it at the beginning of the game.

Here are the available kits to buy in Eggwars:

Egg Shell:
Cost: 200 Points
Contents: 8 Diorite.

Rabbit:
Cost: 250 Points
Contents: 3 Carrots, Potion of Leaping II

Money Bags:
Cost: 300 Points
Contents: 10 Iron Tokens.

Buffer:
Cost: 450 Points
Contents: Potion of Regeneration

Debuffer:
Cost: 450 Points
Contents: Potion of Weakness, Potion of Slowness

Healer:
Cost: 450 Points
Contents: 2 Golden Apples.

Shell Cracker:
Cost: 350 Points
Contents: Gold Pickaxe (Efficiency I)

Egg Armour:
Cost: 350 Points
Contents: Full Leather Armour (Colored)

Feather Feet:
Cost: 400 Points
Contents: Leather Boots (Feather Faling I)

Those are the available kits.
For OP Mode, I find it best to use the Money Bags kit, as it gives a little currency to buy basic gear at the start.
Egg Armour is NEVER a good choice for OP mode. It's basically a waste.

Maps
A "Map" is the place you play the game on.
As of now, there are 18 Maps for Solo Eggwars.
Here are the map names.

Candy (10 Payers)

Construction (8 Players)
Elven (8 Players)
End (12 Players)
Farm (8 Players)
Golf (12 Players)
MLG (12 Players)
Mine (12 Players)
Nightmare (12 Players)
Safari (12 Players)
Snowy (12 Players)
Steampunk (12 Players)
Stronghold (12 Players)
Technology (12 Players)
Teepee (10 Plyers)
Tentacles (8 Players)
Tropical (12 Players)
Village (10 Players)

You can play these by selecting them off of the Solo board, or choosing them in the map selection if you have bought a rank.
Each map has a different play style, so I recommend you try out every one of them.
By playing each map, you can develop a strategy for each one of them.

Start of Game

After the voting sequence and kit selection, assuming there are ranked players who vote OP mode, you will drop out of your cage with the kit you have chosen. You could choose any kit, but lets just stick with Money Bags for now.
What you want to do at the start is:
1- Collect iron from your Iron Generator
2- Get some gold from your Gold Generator. (If it is not active, then don't worry just yet)
3- Buy basic gear such as:
- Full Leather Armour
- Wooden Sword
- Stone Pickaxe
- At least 40 Blocks of Stained Clay (Terrocotta if in 1.12)
- At least 3 Steak
- 1-3 Golden Apples (Assuming your playing a map in which the gold gen is active, if not, then still don't worry)

4- Cover your egg with at least a layer of blocks, no need for obsidian (Unless you really want it)

TAKE OUT YOUR NEIGHBORING ISLANDS.
Build to the bases, break their egg, eliminate them from the game.
This will hopefully keep your island safe for a while.
From this point you should probably upgrade your gear:
-Fresh Set Of Leather Armour
-Stone Sword
-More Food/ Blocks
-More Golden Apples (If island has upgraded gold gen)
-Diamond Pickaxe (If island has upgraded gold gen)

MIDDLE GAME

There are two scenarios for the middle game that you can choose from.
1- Rush more bases.
2- Go to the Middle Island.
I will go over each of these.

RUSHING BASES. (MIDDLE GAME)
Rushing bases is one the more "Risky" moves in Solo Eggwars.
You continuously go to bases, eliminating players from the game.
You will probably never come in touch with your base again, unless you die.

The risky part of the rushing strategy is if you come across someone that out-gears you.
If this happens you really only have 1 option, because if you run, you are giving the player more time to get even better gear:
- See if you can possibly break their egg, and eliminate them.
- Odds are about a 60% success rate if you play it right. (Came up with statistics from recent games I've played)
- If you play it wrong, then there's not really another way to put it than "RIP"
Then you will most likely die and respawn back at your island, giving the other player more time to get even better gear.

The other risk is while rushing, someone might break your egg.
From then on, you will probably want to play a little more cautiously, avoiding enemy players who out gear you.
If you play it perfect and strategically from then on out, you will have a better chance at winning the game.
If not, then you will probably end up losing the game.

GOING FOR MIDDLE ISLAND. (MIDDLE GAME)
After you take out your neighbors, you will probably want to go to mid.
I recommend building to mid from an island you have eliminated, as enemies will not have direct access to your base.
Once at mid, you have access to a powerful resource, DIAMONDS!
Diamonds can get you:
- Iron Armour, Diamond Armour
- Diamond Sword
- Bows (Normal, Power, Punch)
- Enchanted Golden Apples
- Shields
- Better Pickaxes.
- Ender Pearls.

If there is someone else at the middle island, then you will probably have to kill them, assuming they have diamonds available to spend. Fight for control of mid. Don't let anyone else get valuable resources.
You will probably want to stay at mid until you have at least 32 diamonds.
This can get you:
- Full Iron Armour
- Diamond Sword
At that point, you will probably want to make a trip back to mid after you have bought what is above.
Since you have Full Iron at mid, most people will be afraid to come until you leave mid.
Try and get as much diamonds as possible, hopefully enough to get:
- Bow of your choice (Punch is best option)
- Better Pickaxe
- Shield (If necessary)
- 1 Enchanted Golden Apple (If necessary)

If everything goes in your favor, you should be the most powerful person on the map.
But, the game isn't over yet.

END GAME

By now, you should have the gear I told you to get with diamonds.
From this point forward, there should only be you and 2-3 other people, assuming other eggs broke throughout the game.
It is now time to take out the final players. Once you kill the under-geared players, then there is one more player.
HE would have probably gone to mid before you, and activated the Diamond Generator on his base.
Not a need to fear though, as you and the other player should probably have the same gear, you will most likely have better gear as you have access to mid longer, collecting more diamonds then him.

It's now time to clean him up.
If he has a punch bow, then it is best you:
1- Build a Bridge With Walls
2- Save up for an Enderpearl.
3- Buy a shield, if you have not already, and be aggressive. (Not recommended)

It is best, though, to build when the player is shopping or not paying attention.
He should probably have a bridge to his base, use that to your advantage.
If he doesn't, then you should buy an Enderpearl, as it is the safest way to get to him.

Once you get over to his base, then it is crucial that you kill him. This will ensure that you can get to his egg easily.

If you die to him, then you will likely need to go to mid and restock on gear ASAP.
IF you die, he will most likely come for your base straight away, looking to break your egg.
Basically if you die, your chances drop drastically. From then on, you MUST play it right, or you might lose.

Once you kill him, break his egg.
It is recommended that you block yourself in next to his egg, as he most likely has obsidian around it.
Once you break the egg, kill him, then YOU WIN :D

For future games, just repeat this strategy and you will most likely win!

Anyways, this has been Deeds.
Peace out :P

This took me 2 hours to make, so plz respect

Nice guide, and generally what I do too! Here's a tip. Even if someone outgears you, 95% of everyone I see don't have shields, so if you get it right, a punch bow can kill just about anyone without a shield even if you don't have the best armor.

Also, from what I learned golden apples are literally some of the best items to keep you alive if you have armor, and leather armor + golden apples is an OP combination to keep you alive early to mid-game, just get multiple sets of the leather armor and you'll survive a lot, then just grab some iron gear from the diamonds you get from raiding other islands, assuming you try to break everyone's eggs.

(This is for the guide of OP, normal and hardcore most likely won't work.)

Nice guide! I start out the game with the same setup as you except I get a stone sword since the wood sword breaks a lot.:( In op I typically either rush the 2 islands closest to me then go for mid or I just rush mid. Gear is really important in OP so mid is extremely important to me in it. :3 I'll usually go for a power 5 bow as its the only thing that can effectively break armor and deal decent damage and then I'll get iron armor. I save a melee weapon for last as most weapons do about the same damage and as long as its not broken it works in OP. Afterthat point I try to slaughter anyone who is left! >:)

With all due respect, here is what it should of looked like for op,
Go to mid, get a punch bow, camp a lvl 3 generator, get full diamond armor, win. Oh sorry I forgot something, don't play op to begin with. Play normal.
First off, you should never get diamond armour unless it comes down to it.
It is a complete waste of time unless it is 100% necessary.

My guide is for beginners at the game, I don't want rude comments like this. (At least in my opinion it's kind of rude)

don't play op to begin with. Play normal.
Sure. Play normal. But does this look like a normal guide? Nope.

This is an OP guide, not a normal guide.
If you want to take 2 hours out of your day to make a Normal guide, go ahead.
This guide is for beginners who have just started, or never play before, who end up in an OP game when a rank votes for it.

Go to mid, get a punch bow, camp a lvl 3 generator, get full diamond armor, win.
At least I went through 2 hours of explaining myself.
What YOU are doing is describing a game of camping.
"Hey, get full diamond and you win!" "Camp on a Diamond generator"
That is a game that is extremely lame to me.

I am describing a normal game of Solo OP eggwars I do daily.
I use both the strategies in the Beginning, and middle game that I've talked about.
End game varies, but I gave a Most-Likely-Probability scenario of what would happen.

What I've talked about in this thread usually comes out as a 90% win ratio for me.
I think that the strategy I've explained should be really useful for beginners.

Yes sorry I geuss i was just joking about how easy it is to win on op and how lamely involved it is strategically. All one really needs are gaps a punch bow and lots of sets of leather to win. The person that wins is the one with the more golden apples, more sets of leather, or the one with better short range skills, what's this pvp nonsense people talk about.
