We're running an internal migration of all old players' stats to our new highly advanced statistics tracking backend. This means that stat changes will be a bit delayed while we ingest this huge backlog of data. Nothing is being lost, it'll just take a bit longer to show up in the in-game UIs.
This is a bad idea as it would encourage campers.
All you need is to break your bridge to mid once you have diamonds, get one player to camp on the diamonds while you fend the opponents off.
Perhaps suggest something that won't encourage camping and still make it an evenly matched game.

Games already may take very long. I think this would make a game last too long.
Maybe a level for your egg is something to think about. That it takes longer to destroy...
Once your egg is gone, it's gone. Imagine if you spent 30 minutes making an enclosed (because even a double high backstop isn't enough) just to know that there is another one in the chest. A big -1 from me.
