Eggwars Map Development!

So I've been working on a Team Eggwars map called "Nether"! Here are a few screenshots of the main island:

Although it's not the greatest, I feel proud of it! I'm not the greatest builder, and I'm nowhere near comparable to others who build in this community, however, I felt like I could at least try!

Please give me your honest opinion in the comments! Feel free to bash me, or praise me. I'm 100% open to criticism.

The map hasn’t been finished yet, I still need to make both mid and the pre-mid islands.

Do not use netherrack it sucks. Use red terracotta or any block that doesnt cause that kind of static. Even the new texture doesnt look like it’s map-worthy.


No spikes pls very generic turn it into horns. Obsidian isnt a pretty block go for coal.

Make sure your map layout stands out.

Appreciate the response! I'll see what I can do. I am making this without the intention of it actually becoming a map implemented into the game, mainly for just my own enjoyment. The layout will be similar to Whale!
