Eggwars Bug?

My friend and I were playing on Eggwars and after breaking Cyan egg, they were still able to respawn.
We didn't manage to get a video as our egg was dead and the guy kept trying to hit us off. (I apologize for that, we didn't know what to do)
However, my friend did manage to capture a screenshot.

It could've been lag. Lag could've made the egg appear to not be there but really it just replaced itself.
