Ok, so I was going to try to setup 2FA on my fourm account, but it involves using third party websites, which seems like a pain. If there could be a way to do it that would be more integrated into the fourms, that would be great, as I think that would make it easier to setup, especially for younger people, who dont know as much about this sort of thing.

The problem is you need to use third party websites to use these codes, and i dont think I should have to download third party apps. I hope it can become more integrated.

It's not necessarily needed to install any third party programs in order to enable multi-factor authentication on the forums. There is an option that allows you to receive the 2FA code via the e-mail address linked to your forums account.
But for the sake of effectiveness and robustness, it's just recommended to use one of the supported applications instead.

What is 2fa

2FA stands for: 2-Factor Authentication
Which basically is a system that requires you to sign in to your account in two steps. One being your username + password, the other often being a code sent to you by the website itself.
