Discord Ban re-appeal

I appealed my ban last year in November and was told to come back in a couple months than appeal and the mod will consider appealing my ban. I got banned for either cussing or chat trolling even though it was my first time and instead of getting a mute for a day or something I got perm banned can someone explain why?
