Defense VS Offense

Imagine this scenario

You are in the wilderness and you see two chests. One had a sign where it stood defence and the other one offence. The chests were transparent so you could see the content of both chests.

The offensive chest had: 1 diamond sword and a set of leather armor.
The defensive chest had: A set of diamond armor and a wooden sword.

Before you could choose, you were greeted with a sign:
"When you open the shest you wanted, the other one will be sealed and terminated."

What would you choose?
