I was in a fight with a guy he had a stone sword I had a iron and I need the fight I out hit him 3 to 1 but he only takes 3 hearts of damage while I die.Thats not normal 100% not normal.Maybe try fixing this because only a quarter of my hits where attacking him while all his hits registered.This is so stupid and makes the game really un fun it can be when none of your hits are registering.

Iron 1 heart
Diamond 1.5 hearts
But instead
Stone full heart
Iron 1.5 hearts
Diamond 2 hearts
Whhhaaaaatttt no you just don’t take any damage at all whhhyyy cubecraft whhhyyy.

My Personal-explanation says it depends on the mode & the kit you're using it may change from every mode, Although I haven't been understood you exactly if you attached it or ask the reason why that.
if you attached to change you're free to make a suggestion with polls ask the people if they would like that.
if you're asking why that, I think it depends on the game, kit and abilities you have, Every game have abilities need to upgrade so you will not get that a lot of damage of you have upgraded them, merely overpowered different a lot about the normal, if you're interested to know about the damage really different on it if you have any question let me know!

Its difficult for to understand the context of the fight if you don't provide a video, but assuming you're playing OP mode, a stone sword should do 1 heart of damage to full leather armor. An iron sword does about 1.2 hearts and diamond does about 1.4. Rounding can cause the game to show 2 hearts being lost when hit by a diamond sword, but you still lose 1.4 hearts of health. Also keep in mind that people can get critical hits while falling due to knockback. (The bedrock server calculates damage like 1.9+ Java, so you can just look up a calculator and verify my numbers if you want.)

There have been times where I felt that my attacks should have dealt more damage, but my estimate of the damage being dealt may have been off in the moment. Again, a video in this case would be more helpful in determining if there is actually a problem with how the server calculates damage.
