CubeCraft Yap Day 2026 (CCYD)

Hello, CubeCrafters! This post is about an unofficial event on the CubeCraft Discord server held yearly, called CubeCraft Yap Day (CCYD).

Last year, on June 1st, I hosted the first CubeCraft Yap Day. It was a simple idea at first: a bunch of familiar faces coming together and chatting on the Discord at the same time. I began inviting people nearly 2 months in advance, and by the time CCYD came around, it became apparent that this event was going to be a lot bigger than I anticipated. The evergrowing list of participants had 70+ people, and on the day of the event, the server saw 3500+ messages within just two hours, with 50+ people chatting at the same time, including active, retired, and casual players.

This year, CubeCraft Yap Day is returning. If you were there last year, you already know what it's going to be like, and if you weren't, this is your chance to be a part of the event!

Save the date: Sunday, 31st May at 2PM GMT

The list is the names of people who will be attending. Everyone on the list will get a reminder via Discord DMs 7 days before, and again 30 minutes before the event. If you would like for your name to be added, feel free to ask.


Note: If you are banned from the Discord, ban evading to join is not condoned.

That’s such a wonderful idea, Mappoe. Events like these really bring the community together in a way that doesn’t happen every day. The fact that last year reached 3,500+ messages and 50+ people chatting at once is honestly impressive, especially for something that started as a simple idea. It shows how much people enjoy being part of the CubeCraft community.

It’s also really nice to see the effort going into organizing it again this year, from inviting people early to sending reminders and keeping everything structured. That kind of dedication makes a big difference and helps make the event feel special rather than just another busy day in chat.

I am eagerly anticipating the return of CubeCraft Yap Day, and I am confident that it will grow even more this year. Thanks for putting the time into organizing something fun for everyone!

Last year, the list didn't stop expanding up until CCYD itself. Hopefully it's the same this year.

3500+ messages in just 2 hours is kinda crazy, shows how active the community can be when everyone comes together. Respect for organizing something like this again.

Everyone on the list will be getting a reminder from me before the event, so forgetting about it won't be an issue. If I recall correctly, you were present last year asw, right?
