Creeper Farm

Does anyone know how to make a good creeper Farm. Either an Xp farm or an AFK farm would do im just worried about it blowing up

for xp i usually just kill the pasive mods like cows, chickens etc
and For the Afk farm, I did this from the highest point you can build to the lowest

I did that before but the skeletons ended up knocking me off and when I tried to use creeper it just blew up as it landed.

Yeah it takes a lot of patience and time to do it, but once you got it properly it is pretty useful

In addition to building everything properly, you have to quickly set all of the mob spawners and get the heck out of there before the first mobs spawn.

I wouldn't bother with creeper farms unless you need the gunpowder for some reason. As I understand it, the investment in pigs pays off quicker than the investment in creepers.

Of course if you already have a massive pig farm you may want to diversify into creepers.
