Cow droppers

I am trying to create a dropper for cows, so they spawn and fall instantly to their death, however, whenever I placed the spawners, (high enough to where they would die) they wouldn't spawn. Any tips on how to avoid this happening?

I think you have to place it over like water both at flows to where they fall or something like that because they have to have something to spawn on they can’t spawn in thin air. I don’t know much about this but place some kind of thing that they can spawn on a block and float to their death

Place opened fence gates underneath the spawners and they should spawn and fall to their deaths if there is a platform far under the spawner

havent tried this yet but it should work indeed! it should work for basically any mob
