I don't think it will come back, not many people played it and most of the players were hackers.

I was never a fan of the game, as I considered it kinda unplayable for solo players with no gear whatsoever. However, while I do understand why many people like it, it doesn't make any sense to keep maintaining a game mode which so few people play, so that's why it was removed.
