When I got banned by sentinel for a week, it took 4-5 days for them to even get to it and when they finally got to it, it got denied...

There are lots of other players who've submitted an appeal as well. To keep things as fair as possible, older appeals will be handled first. Moderators can't just filter out your appeal just because you don't want to wait any longer. I do agree that it takes pretty long for a Sentinel appeal to be reviewed but there's nothing much I can do about that. You'll just have to wait until all appeals submitted before yours have been handled.
The chance of your appeal getting approved is pretty slim already. Luckily you can do a second appeal by answering a set of questions. About the waiting time, the same will apply as for your first appeal. To be honest, I wouldn't expect to be unbanned for another 5-8 days.
