When waiting in the eggwars cage, You cant talk except your party.
But why cant we talk in normal chat to our team? No global

In Lucky Islands and other games you can talk before the game starts, and nobody asks me to vote something. I don’t think it’s a problem.

You know what I mean ;)
There are many players playing skywars and they would spam all the rankers with their favourite vote options.
That's be pretty annoying.

In the Team Skywars waiting lobby some people (5 players maybe) ask to the rankers to vote something. But it’s not annoying, even sometimes I vote what they want.
I don’t think it will be annoying in Solo.
