Hello,
Sometimes my friends and I play against each other in Private Games (PG), and we enjoy using clicking techniques like double clicking and drag clicking.
Could you consider adding a setting for Private Games that allows host owners to enable or disable double clicking?
When this option is enabled, the Anti-Cheat/Protection System would temporarily bypass click-rate detection within the PG session, allowing us to practice and play using our preferred clicking methods without false bans or flags.

If a clicking technique is banned server-wide, it should remain banned in Private Games as well to uphold server rules and integrity.

i dont think its a good idea. Drag and dc is banned for a reason so that every player gets a fair game. If it is allowed in pgs then later on people will demand it for normal games too.
If it is banned then its for a reason so let it be banned for whole server.
Thank you

You're right, but I meant that we are the ones who choose whether to allow it or not.
Take tournaments, for example. There are tournaments between certain members, or matches where two teams and their players use drag-clicking. I said that you can allow drag-clicking if you want, and if you don't want to, just disable it and you'll play by the server's standard rules!
In short, you have the choice to allow drag-clicking or no

Apparently, no. It’s illegal to drag or double click. Not agreeing with this. Any game you play including private games, drag clicking and double clicking will remain banned. Clicking too quickly can result in a win streak loss. You lose your win streak for being kicked.

If you want to experience dragging then there are servers which allowes you to drag and play but not cube because cube is very strict with its rules and its like what a server should be. so i dont think drag and dc should be allowed in cubecraft.
Thank you!

So this will never be easily implemented because how do you prove that everyone participating in a PG has agreed to allow certain clicking methods? If we get just a single report from a PG match that means someone considers that drag clicking and double clicking should not be allowed in that game. Imagine the many appeals that would come in claiming that the members of the PG had “agreed” to allow these clicking methods, how would we verify that?

And if you propose to let the creator of the private game decide what is allowed and what is not, why should the host of a PG decide which CubeCraft rules should be enforced and which should not? It is a slippery slope. Also how would it be proven that everyone was notified accordingly of which clicking methods were allowed?

As mentioned above in some of the replies, if a rule exists on our server it is meant to be enforced everywhere, otherwise people get confused and miscommunication leads to unexpected punishments. At any rate, I see no added benefit in “allowing” these clicking methods because they are inherently unfair, as people with access to specific hardware can enforce an unfair advantage over others that I would not like to see allowed anywhere, not even private games.

Note: You mention “practicing” your preferred clicking methods. I don’t see why CubeCraft should encourage players to practice clicking methods that we disallow.

Thank you for taking the time to read my response!
In fact, it could be as simple as displaying a sidebar notice stating whether double clicking and drag clicking are allowed or banned.
Alternatively, if the PG host chooses to allow them, a prompt could appear notifying joining players that these clicking methods are enabled, offering two options: "Accept" or "Decline".
If a player selects Decline, the server automatically sends them back to the lobby (with a clear notice explaining that declining will return them to the lobby).
The same applies if the host decides to ban them.
Regarding reports within Private Games: all you would need to do is add a new section to the in-game scoreboard/sidebar (which currently shows player count, etc.) clearly stating: "Double & Drag Clicking: Allowed / Disallowed".
This way, your team can easily verify and accept or reject reports from Private Games accordingly.
Thank you!

Forcing players to either accept an unfair advantage or get sent to the lobby isn't a solution, it's just group exclusion.
