About ffa's savanna

it would look a lot better if there was more podzol underneath pride rock where theres a large shadow. The podzol should be placed around the terracotta.

Ehhhh, even though I don't play FFA anymore, I would still like them to bring some updated to it. The last update was introducing a couple of Wings map last summer or something. More land maps would be nice :P

No, clay was renamed terracotta. What youre thinking of is glazed terracotta

Last time I checked pine trees don't grow in deserts
See the podzol grass block has an interesting texture
Why? well because it naturally is in taiga forests and it makes sense do to it's pine needle texture
that isn't to say I don't like Podzol in fact it is one of my favourite design blocks
however from a theme perspective I don't think it would work sand makes a bit more sense to be next to water

Look im an experienced builder. Regardless of theme , certain block choices dont go together.

Second , its a savanna not a desert.

so beaches are now deserts
do you know the definition of a desert?
it means a place that gets less than 10 cm of rain a year
so technically the north pole is a desert
do you see sand there? no
deserts don't require sand

yes except that is possible that there could have previously been trees there

Ive been to the grand canyon and a saw soo many conifers along with a mesa terrain. Anyway , the podzol is just to help transition. Why would it have to make sense?
