A spectator gave an item to a player (GLITCH??)

If you have the void treasure perk you get an item when you kill someone by hitting them in the void.
Here is the problem.

1. Hit someone
2. Die & stay as a spectator
3. The person you hit falls in the void
4. The void treasure perk activates, you get an item (AS A SPECTATOR)
5. The item falls on the ground

You can accidentally spawn an item in mid-air with this??

It seems a glitch or prabably a bug. If this things happens to you again, please do not throw the item to the ground because you would be playing a bit rude helping people or maybe helping your friends

Yeah, this is definitely a bug, so report it so it can be patched cause someone could try and abuse it.
