Java 1.8 Beta Eggwars (Wood too OP)

In 1.8 you can not buy a axe in beta eggwars so when placing wood around your egg is kinda too OP. So make it so we can buy axes in 1.8 or remove wood in 1.8.

Oh wow... I never thought about that! Yes remove wood, but also in 1.9+ it’s not fitting for Eggwars, Eggwars was suppose to be the game where you only needed a pickaxe to break the egg!

I think the best solution is to add axe, but do not delete the wood, it is a new and good idea to protect the egg

I think that they should add axe instead as LITE mentioned but I agree that wood is pretty op without axes.

Yeah wood is definitely too op. So they should either remove it or add an axe.

I definetly think the wood should stay in eggwars, there were already chests to do this but now it's easier, and you can easily buy an axe as preparation to break it. I do agree in any version you should be able to buy an axe.

Wood should be removed from both 1.8 and 1.9. its almost as strong as obsidian and way cheaper so there's no need to place obsidian since wood is just flat out better and we need to buy a special axe to counter it which noone uses.
