Currently on CubeCraft, when a player submits an appeal, it can either be accepted or denied.
If accepted, the system shows:
“You don't have any infractions to appeal.” which is fine.
However, when an appeal is denied, it only shows:
“Appeal denied.” with no explanation.
Proposed change:
Add a short explanation box when an appeal is denied, where staff can briefly state the reason for the decision.
Why this would help:
- Gives players clarity on why their appeal was rejected
- Prevents players from opening tickets in the Discord server just to ask why they were denied
- Improves overall transparency
Implementation idea:
- Add an optional text field for staff when denying an appeal
- The explanation can be hidden behind the same appeal code used to access the appeal
This keeps moderation secure while still giving players useful feedback.
