I think the current report system has a serious problem. For reports like hate speech in LabyMod voice chat, we are required to upload the evidence to YouTube.
The problem is that YouTube does not allow this kind of content, so videos with slurs, hate speech, or extreme insults can get removed automatically.
Because of that, many valid reports become a waste of time.
A player records the evidence, uploads it, submits the report, and then the video gets deleted because of YouTube rules. After that, the report cannot be reviewed properly anymore, even if the evidence was real.
In some cases, YouTube does not only remove the video, but can also restrict or ban the channel. Because of this, if you need to report another player again in the future, you may have to create a new channel first just to upload evidence. That makes the whole report process even more frustrating and unnecessary.
Some moderators say we can put the real evidence in the extra information section and use another link there.
However, this does not really solve the problem.
The video link field cannot be left empty, and the system doesnt allow random YouTube videos so this workaround is not reliable.Because of that, players are still forced to use YouTube in serious hate speech cases.
Other possible options, for example:
Google Drive / cloud links
Support for other video hosting sites
Direct video upload (extra cost for CubeCraft)
We sould be able to paste any link (maybe only for voice chat reports)
YouTube should not be the only option for reports like this.If the evidence is valid, players should be able to submit it without losing the report because another platform removes the video.
Right now, this system makes reporting serious voice chat abuse much harder than it should be.
