VPN usage

Ok so I'm in college and we are provided with college wifi. the wifi has everything blocked except study material so we HAVE to use vpns. infact our professors recommended us to use vpns constantly.
When i joined cubecraft on vpn, it kicked me for using vpn. However, minecraft is not accessible without the vpn on the wifi.
This is not happened before ever. In 2025, this was never an issue.
Is this a new feature and what am i supposed to do T-T

This is due to internet subscription type. I had this issue and changed my internet subscription, and it no longer appears.

I use a vpn (although it links back into the wifi I use) and I never seem to get that problem, in some cases the vpn is better then the actual wifi.

As i know vpn is not allowed from a long time ago
