The most players aren't good and play cubecraft once or twice an leave. By making it not just fun but something you would wanna get good at people will stay, so bring in more things into battle arena or maybe add a whole need game category " practice ".
Zeqa has many staying players and it's only players who wanna be good in PvP there. But I thi m it's not as fun so what you could do is mix em. Bring more skill in but leave it fun and enjoyable for the new ones.
Ok doesn't sound that good but could change a lot as players will waste hours on practice and get food fast after which they will stay on cubecraft with the goal to be better or maybe even the best.
