Even though I don’t own a cat I still think they are better than dogs (you won’t see much dogs where I live).
as somebody who has played battle cats, I am obligated to pick cat. I'd rather have a cat anyways because cats are lazier.
I personally prefer dogs, but honestly I just like both. I've always had a dog and a cat while growing up, and both dogs and cats have their own things that make them great pets. I have to choose dogs over cats because dogs often need more attention and they depend more on their owners, which creates a stronger bond between me and my dog, while cats often like to do their own thing. Both can be very cuddly though

I’d have to go with dogs, just because how much they actually love human attention. I have a dog and a cat, and my cat just kind of hides and comes out when he smells food. My dog will cuddle and play with people, which I prefer as a trait in pets.
