I have found these buildings all around the border. Are they unused and maybe put aside for future gamemodes?

I saw these things too. I think they just forgot to delete their builds after they had build a FFA map.

Yamin used to do a lot of spontaneous events, where he had to build the assets with WorldEdit on the map itself (which was a pain). These builds would get removed when the server closed as well, so he just added these assets to the actual map itself to easily make them accessible. He would teleport people to those spots and organize sumo & other games
we need more events like this, the last ever event was squid game
