An Introduction to Slime Switch

I've been playing a lot of Slime Survival recently and throughout playing, an idea formed in my head. Whilst playing both of the current gamemodes I thought we could have another. This mode would be called "Slime Switch".

The main concept

Slime Switch would pretty much work the same way the normal mode works except instead of the slime team growing by sliming survivors, the slime position would switch throughout the game. There would be two different ways for this to happen.

How it will work

As said previously, there are two different ways to play this mode.

1. One slime will be chosen at the beginning of the game. They will have to find survivors as usual but when they slime someone, that person will become the slime. The previous slime will take the new slimes position as a survivor. After the previous slime switching, they will have 5 seconds of invincibility so they aren't almost instantly slimed again. Slimes will have different traps from the survivors and will be able to plant slime traps which will slime survivors who walk into them. If a survivor walks into them they will also become a slime. This is how the slime team will grow so both teams have a chance to win.

2. One slime will be chosen at the beginning of the game. They will also have to find survivors and slime them to switch. The twist with this is that randomly throughout playing this mode you will switch with a randomly picked survivor. If this happens, you will go to wherever they were on the map and they would go to wherever you were. There would also be traps for the slime team in this mode so they could trap survivors and turn them into slimes too. This will work the same way as explained in example 1.

Note - survivors will also have traps to plant around the map and have different boosts as they do normally. It may be a cool idea to give slimes some boosts too.


If you have any ideas to improve this idea, please let me know. I'd appreciate some feedback on this too.

In total, I said the world slime, sliming, slimes, slimed 24 times. Including the title, 26.

Dont see a problem with this and could help bring some more variety into Slime Survival

tbh this mode would just go on until times up and survivors would always win
nobody is stupid enough to walk into a trap

So place it strategically. Place it in front of them by jumping out in front of them. You just have to get a good spot to get them.

Personally, I love this idea. I already like the "Hot potato" mini game in Minerware enough, and this would just add to the fun. I do say Slime Survival needs another game mode, it gets dull after playing the same two game modes over and over again. +1

Sounds like a pretty cool gamemode. :)
Personally, I love this idea. I already like the "Hot potato" mini game in Minerware enough, and this would just add to the fun. I do say Slime Survival needs another game mode, it gets dull after playing the same two game modes over and over again. +1

You'd be surprised. Slimes and Slime traps are like cats and cardboard boxes. They almost always jump on it for fun.
Does that mean you like the idea?

You've given me an idea. How about we have multiple slimes? The game will still work the same way but we'll have multiple.
