He was probably lagging. When he was approaching the bridge, he suddenly ran really fast. Probably because of his internet. He hit you while you were at the island, while he was still looking in the air, probably because you were still there on his screen. It in general aren’t clear hacks, that’s why I think staff won’t ban.

looks like it, but report it and find out for certain.
That assumes moderators are infallible.

I think it would be weird for a player to enable maximum reach for a single hit while otherwise hacking low-key trying not to get banned. It would be interesting to see more of the game. Also, the vanilla Minecraft server prevents hits at some distance, I think it's 6 blocks on the server side, 10 block reach should be impossible if your own delay isn't too high. I think it might be more likely that either the server was lagging and processing packets late or your own connection had a short interruption.

It seems like he got a lagg spike there but I am almost sure that he had a hit on you because you see that he moves from one spot to the other spot in just a single sec. If you think about it you were on the exact same spot a sec ago so he probably got you but he had a very hard algg spike.

In my opinion, I wouldn’t judge one hit as sufficient evidence anyways. Furthermore, the player is seen to be lagging - at around 0:11 before they hit you, they teleport across the screen, which is a sure-fire way to prove they are lagging.
The player has an average of 100-150ms ping, peaking at around 500ms, so I think it’s fair to say they are not using an illegal client as the evidence suggests. :)

I think he is cheating, it seems really simple just to say it was lag but that doesn't make sense in this scenario. I am assuming no enderpearls or speed potions were used during this video.

When you ran away from him you were at least 8 blocks ahead I would say, pretending he didn't teleport that is. If you lagged then what happened was you must have started right before you jumped on the bridge, you stopped sending position packets thus got "ghosted". This is the only possible way this would have happened legit, you had to of lagged, not him.

If he lagged during the video then he stopped getting player position packets from the server thus making you stay in place on his end, if he were to hit you the server would know the hit is above 6 blocks and like what MagnificentSpam said it would deny the hit.

So either you lagged or he cheated.

Hmm, it could also be the resource pack, I am not sure. Also, aren't these things at 0:10 speed particles?
I sure don't see any speed particles also I have never seen a pack that has all particles from potions mixed up, the speed particles are probably just running particles.

Also even if he did have speed on it would still likely be illegitimate.

Look at the timer in the scoreboard. It counts down at a constant rate until it pauses on 4:23 for noticeably longer, then briefly displays 4:22 which turns to 4:21. This coincides with when your client is notified of the hit (4:22) after the quick lag spike (4:23-4:22). Therefore either you or the server was lagging, so this counts as no evidence against iRakie.

Hurrah for refill timers!

Agreed. It was like a millisecond, but that still can be lag.

If he got a lag spike, he sees you lagging for a second too, you'll hang in the air for a sec and then he can hit you..
