Cant join PVP server

I think this happens to everyone but to make sure. I cant join the pvp server once I do it sends me back to the main lobby
help?

I know happens to me all the time, I'm on 1.8 I try to log onto the pvp server and it says I should go to 1.9, what a horrible bug.

Isn't a bug, we just can play skywars and eggwars en in the version 1.8

Just don't play in 1.8 if you are playing in 1.9 and you have problems eat yourself its all about to say:)
