Vanity update on the basis If 1.12

Hello cubecrafters

I am back with a new suggestion. Tomorrow There Will come a new update of minecraft, the 1.12 or the world of colour update.

Anyways,
I'm against this. One of the main reason is that we already have 2 gadgets that shoots animals and then explodes. A third one isn't that original.
If that's going to be the case then we can make 30 threads with a new so called 'gadget'.

Seriously. This just isn't original.
Besides we don't even know when Cubecraft is going to update to 1.12.x

Why cant you say parrots on the shoulder? Or rainbow parrots? Why do they need to explode?

Anyway, 1.12 is the best update sonce 1.9 . They should definately update

Because most players are on 1.8 or 1.9. They don't want to change versions.

we already have exploding stuff.
maybe something like sheep farm but then a parrot cage.

Because most players are on 1.8 or 1.9. They don't want to change versions.

It is hard to explain, but the player count won't decrease because ViaVersion supports people from 1.9 playing with 1.10 1.11 and even 1.12.

It will take Cube a little time to swap to 1.12. But it won't be more than a month or so.

Cube is split in 2 divisions. 1.8 (only EggWars and SkyWars)
and 1.9-1.10-1.11-1.12 Every cube game, every version above 1.9

Well first I cant read the article its in another language (mind translateing it?)
Also there is only 1 suggestion try and think of more fun like raining rainbow of concreat
Then you have a solid idea

Dude 1.11 has better Hit Detection than 1.9.
10x better hit detection.

Better than bot being able to see Llamas at all. You know at least a compulsory 1.12 update for freebuild would be nice. Im dying to use bone blocks

That's an easy problem to solve, just remove the cross version compatibility and tell players to update. This is definitely necessary for the game servers. I wouldn't mind if the lobby servers still stayed on 1.9, but I don't see a problem with only allowing 1.8 and 1.12. It is incredibly easy to update minecraft. I can rather imagine players leaving the server because of bugs and lack of new blocks in freebuild etc. than people leaving because they are too lazy to update to 1.12.

10k, But cubecraft wont add this because Some players are in an Old version.

Exactly . People leaving the server oooohhh we so scurdd aaaaaah will happen regardless. Cubecraft is the only good 1.9+ server . Making it 1.12 would further make it one of a kind. Cross compatibility should not be an excuse not to update to 1.12

Pvp wise, 1.9 is the same as 1.12. They could update the 1.9 server to 1.12 without problems.

Well you didn't understand what she even said so there's that...

Why do we care so much about players being able to access from so many different versions? If players are willing to go back as far as 1.8 to play on a server, why wouldn't they go to 1.12? Besides, most players don't even customize their launcher meaning it is on the latest version which means they will be playing in 1.12 already. And if you are worried players won't know, just change the text in multiplayer thing (where you connect to servers) to say 1.8/1.12+ exclusive. And if they join in 1.9, it will say your client is out of date.
We will need to update at some point. 1.9 came out a long time ago and I think sometime soon is the time to update.
