I think that there should be a plugin which makes shields deal knockback if they are timed right. The knockback could have a cooldown so it doentnget abused. This way people can stop combos

You can make combos, in both pvp. But in 1.9 you have a cooldown.

And No to stop combos would ruin the pvp

It doesnt stop combos entirely , theres a cooldown for the sheikd knockback anyway so it doesnt ruin pvp
Furthermore axes can shut down sheilds entirely

Although I see what you're saying, I think this would get completely abused. It would change the purpose of the shield way too much and would unbalance PvP even with a cool down so it's a no from me.
