Error starting at 1.8

Hello everyone. I have a friend who can not start minecraft with 1.8. He plays 1.7 on the average of 50 FPS. Someone can help me on this, he would love to start playing in CubeCraft but can not start on 1.8.

I had this to, delete your .minecraft folder and download minecraft again

Try deleting the .minecraft folder and uninstall the launcher and then reinstall it again i think that can help or tell him to put another version ;)
