How does the map cycle work?

Hello everyone,

Me and my friends like playing eggwars because it is the best game ever :D
but i have a question. does anyone know how the map system works. Why do I want to know this?
There is a very good reason, here is the example:

In this example. there are 5 aztec! But at the most time. we want to play Pizza or Underthesea.
But in this case that is not possible. One time we waited for 20 minutes to get a map that we wanted. and this is all of the time like this. Maps like aztec, treehouse and teaparty are at the join signs the most. one time we saw 9 teaparty's. how is this even possible.

I hope someone can tell me the answer :)

It works this way: The more you want to play a certain map, the less that map will appear.

Totally random, but, since those are sub-servers, it depends how fast do the maps fill and how many people are playing (if a lot of people is playing maps but not TeaParty, the other maps sub-server won't spawn since are full or playing, so the "gallery" will get covered by TeaParty sub-servers).
Hope you understand....

It's annoying when you have to wait a long time for a map to appear, because at the moment 99% of games you join there's a hacker. I feel as though this may be due to MCLeaks maybe releasing thousands of new tokens for players to use. I'd wait like 10 minutes to get on Pizza, to find there is a fly hacker or something along the sort.

agree. but it comes in randomly so you have to wait if there is no map that you want to play. patient is the key ;)

1: The last post wasn't older than 2 weeks.
2: It was a single word post but it answered the topic starter's question.

That doesn't matter. It was answering the question, so it doesn't matter if its one word or one million words. Only useless posts are not allowed, thats what the rules say:
No pointless posts that do not contribute to the topic in any way (Single word posts such as k, +1, ok, cool etc...
As you can see, not all single word posts are prohibited, only those that do not contrubute to the topic in any way are prohibited.
