I wouldn't mind having the ability to close your own threads. Also, you can ban people from you profile already.

On another note locking your own threads should be a thing since a staff member will lock any thread just because the owner asks anyway
And second of all, @tspacecat The staff have to lock threads, its their Job, not ours. And what is the point of us locking our own threads, you can just tag a staff member and he will lock it for you. You can already ban people from your profile.
And when people give bad opinions (Ofcourse, not with bad/rude way of talking) that means that they are speaking freely as the Burning cake (@CARDAN16 ) Said.
And BTW @CARDAN16 That cake would look a lot cooler with sunglasses :P

You can always tag a staff member to lock a thread. People are allowed to not like you opinion and decision, and are allowed to express it freely. If someone doesn't like your idea, I see no reason why they can't say they like it. It is rude when they don't say why they don't like it, but that is just life and the internet.

Though it would be nice to lock your own thread, I see no real reason for it. I mean, Staff are meant to be the one's to lock threads. Also, if something needs to be locked, typically that threads conversation is over or a question was answered. Whatever the reason for the lock request is, it means that you have no reason to look at that thread anymore. Tagging a Staff Member is as simple as could be, try it sometime and I promise you it won't be too hard.
Okay you can all stop with the whining now. @tspacecat I believe something you need to understand is that people who reply to your suggestions are leaving criticism rather than offending you. They're here to pretty much paraphrase what an admin could say. Of course, mixed responses will happen, as it is here, but you need to calm down. :)
