Skywars is one of the most popular gamemodes on the server and a lot of people love it.

That said I'd like to bring a few balance suggestions to make it more enjoyable on OP mode and basic.

When Op chests first came out there was a lot of hype but now it seems that many people including donors don't like it anymore.
It was fun for good sword battles but now everyone just camps and if you don't have an enderpearl or a punch bow then say goodbye!

OP Balance Suggestions:
-10% more chances of finding enderpearls
-Nerf Punch bow from 3 to 1
-Reduce one protection point to every armor piece ( shorter fights )
-Reduce chances of finding God apples by 25%
-Add feather falling X boots to chests
-Add invisible potions that last 16 sec.
-Add golden carrots to chests
-Add milk to chests


These changes will hopefully make OP Skywars less of a camping fest than it is now. Invisible potions will allow you to move more freely as you won't be seen, this equals for less viable camping in late game.

I would also like to have kits be brought to OP. What this means is that depending on which gamemode you play your kit will adapt to it.

Example: Swordsman kit

OP -> Diamond Sword with Sharp 4
Normal -> Iron Sword with Sharp 2
Basic -> Stone Sword with Sharp 1
--And that for all kits--

What this will do is make kits less op in Basic chests and more useful in OP chests.

Edit: Just for reference, in the next major update golden carrots will be the best food in the game ( apart from golden apples ).
Edit 2: I somehow messed up the whole post, i meant to reduce one protection point for every armor to have shorter fights.

I like it especially the kit adjustments. I would love to see adjusted kits for every gamemode. For example the Swordsman kit is cuurently way too op for Basic chests, same goes for the Iron Golem kit.

-Reduce chances of finding God apples by 25% NOT NECESSARY | God apples are not that good anymore regular golden apples are equally good.
-Add feather falling X boots to chests NOT NECESSARY | Just not necessary.
-Add invisible potions that last 16 sec. NOT NECESSARY | It is just not necessary.
-Add golden carrots to chests YES | Because it gives you a loot of drumsticks.
-Add milk to chests NOT NECESSARY | Because there are no real potions. Except the invisible potion if it gets added.

Kit editing, no.

Dislikes:
* OP is all bow spamming currently, changing punch 3 to punch 1 is not going to help much.

* Sword fights (as of right now) take ages already. That's why I also don't think extra protection should be added.

* God apples is something I don't use. You may question why, well because normal golden apples will keep you alive easely already. So reducing them wouldn't matter to much I would say.

* Milk in chest, I don't see any use of having milk. There aren't any long debufs.
Likes:
* I do like the idea of adding feather falling. Could help players not fall to their death.

* Invisible pots, this could make up for some fun. Just going invisible and shooting the enemies from behind.

* Golden carrots, they could be in staid of the normal carrots. Because carrots don't heal much hunger bars.

-Add an extra protection point to every armor piece ( longer fights ) - No! Imo the swordfights are already way too long!
-Reduce chances of finding God apples by 25% - Would be ok, although I don't think it's necessary
-Add feather falling X boots to chests - Same here changed my mind, I like them now
-Add invisible potions that last 16 sec. - Good idea
-Add golden carrots to chests - Pretty useless imo, I usually have a stack of golden apples
-Add milk to chests - Don't really like it, I think it's a good thing that you can give slowness/levitation to others

I do like the dynamically adjusted kits.

The fights on OP are already stupidly long already and since the golden apples make you basically unkillable are most of the time won by destroying the enemies' armor (and spare armor) by spam clicking, which is really boring :(

I also like Invisibility potions, OP Skywars in general could use more (combat + debuff) potions! (poison, harming, slowness, maybe even crazy ones like levitation or jump boost 10 for 5 seconds)

I think the main point of god apples is the fire resistance. If you are on fire without it your armor takes a lot of damage. If I die on op, its almost always either because I get punched off or because my armor breaks (And I already try to collect three sets).

I agree with you that you say the fights are boring but you can punch the player off the island if you want or just spleef the peron?

And yes combat potions should be added back. :)

The only thing of mine really change are the Punch III bows. This should to Punch II or I. I think Punch III is too Overpowered :)

I dislike the idea of having e-pearls being buffed to a higher chance.. that's just more chaos at center. And Reducing God apples isn't a big deal because if you have multiple sets of armor you'll be fine... Invisible pot for 16 seconds + e-pearl+ center+ god apple = win.
And you Really dont need milk, because there aren't big effects you can get from Anything. And golden carrots in the game? That's gonna be the String that's always left in the chest

Mate those are just the core ideas. Probability of finding certain items can still be figured out ( Ultra rare to Ultra commun ). Also I'd like to point out that this is op skywars after all and people like chaos, just not having a 10 minute bow fight.

They should nerf it to the same amount as it is in eggwars, which is punch 2. Punch 1 is a bit underpowered IMO.

Decrease the chances and lower the amount of golden apples that it comes with. (Minimum being 1 and maximum being 5). Notch apple chances stay the same but you can only find one in a single chest/

This should happen both Eggwars and Skywars IMO, as some of the kits such as egg armour in hardcore mode (eggwars) is worth 80 gold and in basic mode (skywars, it is quite hard to find iron armour, so the iron golem kit would be OP.
