Yes, I know there is already a guide but it lacks an actual strategy. This is a guide to help people that aren't very good at blockwars and want some help!

The Kits and Their Best Uses

Offense: Attack the flag/core at all costs. Don't turn back.
Midfield: Help your teammates capture the flag, but make sure the other teams don't get through either side. Players shouldn't play in the midfield in core mode.
Defense: Defend the flag/core, trying not to go on offense.
Mix - Plays 2/3 positions

Warrior
CTF: Midfield Core: Defense
Warrior kit is the default kit, and for good reasons. It's relatively balanced and works in most scenarios. It can play offense, but I don't recommend it. This is due to the fact it has no special buff and can get overwhelmed fast. It's main use is killing, and it's made useless in an attempt to capture a flag. It's best use is to keep the flag/core secure and make sure enemies don't invade.
Archer
CTF: Midfield Core: Defense
This is another standard midfield defense kit. Plating offense with this kit basically gurantees your death, especially on CTF. This is because of the lack of melee damage and the inability to use the stick or bow for its main purpose in an enclosed area. The best way to use this kit is to make a podium 6 blocks up with a staircase during build time. Then shoot at anyone that comes near.
Runner
Both: Offense
This is the go to kit to capture flags. This kit has a big advantage in capturing due to the fact it continues to run without the slowness effect. I'd advise against using this kit to defend because it's ability is neutralized and can easily be taken out by kits with stronger weapons. Midfield is okay, but again this is mainly meant for capturing flags.
Miner
Both: Offense
It's not great for actually capturing, but this kit is great in conjunction with the runner. Because it can retrieve blocks, it can remove a section of the opponent's defense and add it to their own. Don't defend with this, as it's ability is completely wasted because you'd be breaking your own defense.
Builder
CTF: Defense Core: Mix
I personally never use this kit as I think builder is a much better choice. However, in core mode this can be a life-saver if you have good teammates. The trick is to go to the opposing side and block yourself in on 3 sides. Have teammates stand on either side and drill at the core. It won't always work, but that is practically the only use of this kit.
Jumper
Both: Defense
This kit is mainly meant for landing tricky hits on enemies. It can do so from anywhere, but home base is the easiest place to do so. However, it's hard to chase players with this kit because of slow forward advancement.
Ninja
Both: Mix

This kit's best use is very scenario dependent. It is a potent kit for both offense and defense. The key is; if you are winning or its tied in normal time stay back and defend. If you are losing or its overtime go on the offensive. It's easy to defend with ninja due to its cloak making hits hard and it's overpowered sword. The drawback is that it has no armor so if you're not good at dodging don't use this kit. Never go on the offensive at the beginning because you can't mine through blocks. Because of the cloak, you can circle around the flag at the end. Just make sure arrows aren't piercing you and youre not holding an item. You can attack during normal fight time, however it is discouraged because you can get killed very fast.
Bomber
Both: Offense
This is a very self explanatory kit. Just blow up opposing defense and change kits. It doesn't have any further use.
Summoner
CTF: Midfield Core: Defense

I discourage using this kit for any purpose. This is because it can end up being used against you. If a Miner kit charges in and puts a block in between you and him, the mob can act as an interference. It also lacks an effective use because it's very easy to keep the player in between the mob and the opponent. Overall, don't use this kit.
Tank
Both: Mix
The main purpose of this kit is to stand in between anybody that is doing something important and opponents. Simple!

What? :P
Jumper
Both: Defense
I find Jumper a very good offensive kit in CTF. You can jump over walls to get to the flag, and jump on top of the structure surrounding the flag to dig in from the ceiling.
Summoner
CTF: Midfield Core: Defense

I think Summoner has some use. It's effective at defending in CTF as well, and the mobs will occasionally get a kill for you. It's really great when you block yourself up in the Core/Flag room and summon a mob, then you'll have basically 2 players ready to defend from intruders.
