So team griefing / killing is bannable right? But right now, is it the same as cross teaming and camping so only a "kick" from the game? Or will they actually get banned?

Little bump. I want more answers, because everyone says something different.

Would be nice if it was a one day tempban for the first offence followed by a week, two weeks then a month or something if they commit it time and time again.
For now, it should be a kick since they haven't officially release the new punishment system.

So yes, they will eventually most likely get banned in the new punishment system otherwise they'll think it's okay to grief/team kill since staff can't always be spectating and it's a little unfair to the innocent players.

test
Teamkilling = 1-2 months ban. (not sure)
Teamgriefing 1-3 months ban. (not sure)

Cross teaming = Kick
This is what @Camezonda said,
"Cross teaming in eggwars is currently only a kick from the game, and a staff member needs to be present within that game to kick the player. Teaming punishments are being re-though for the future."

Wait what? Is that not allowed now?

Rule has been edited, pretending to hack is no longer against the "No Trolling" rule. ;)

Thank you @Cheez for pointing out the update :)
Previous response :
It falls under trolling :
"No trolling: This includes pretending to be something you aren’t just to get a reaction, such as hacking ... "

Now there is a difference between saying "I am hacking and using kill aura" and replying "yup".

I'm not fond of the fact that replying "yup" falls under this rule since I'm also getting the feeling that if that's the case we will be getting lots of hackusator reports, where they'll try to get people banned for one day.
(Carefull though : I am not saying I won't comply to the admins decisions, I will be consulting with them a bit more than usual for the first few days depending on the various situations)

I think it would be more balanced if false hackusating fell into the same category as falsely admitting to hacks, if someone accuses you and you admit ... it's all gimicking.
If hackusators aren't punished the same way than those that respond to them there will be a lot more hackusating and I'm scared that this may ruin a bit the current atmosphere in the community.
They would still need proof to show you hacking anyway, but now the accusers can give you a free 1 day ban for what I believe is a bit of nonsense. I'd be against banning for 1 day to falsely admitting hacks (again, falsely admitting is different to saying that you are hacking when you are not)

To answer your question, I think it really depends on the circumstances, but I wouldn't risk a one day ban... It's not too hard to avoid sarcastic responses.

Opinion @DontYouDare, @zRinne and @PinkSparkleWolf ?

no it is not because it falls under the rule of no trolling.. you're not allowed to pretend to be a hacker..which by saying "yes".. or "yup" it's basically pretending to be a hacker .

Ok first off, don't answer the question if you don't know the answer.

Second, this is not true. At all. In any way.
