Respawn timer for eggwars

I have just had my very annoying game I EVER had. Heres what happened, I got full iron and a diamond sword against 3 people with leather and I killed them,but guess what, they had the eggcracker kit. Since 2 of them had it I decided to run away because even though they were spamming I had low health and then when I check my armor it's almost dead(helm at 19) Thankfully I was smart got obby and boxed myself in and won.(I had no egg)

Now for the suggestion, a respawn timer.If you get killed at your island you have to wait 3 seconds(2nd death is 6 seconds, 3rd death is 9 seconds and so on) but it only will gives you the timer if you die at your island. It resets if you go to mid.
P.S would have died if I was playing 1.8.

I do not support a respawn timer. I think that's the main purpose of the shell cracker kit, and it should stay that way.

Or just make it so when you first respawn you cant attack for 5-ish seconds
