(This suggestion is a WIP, there are probably a lot of things that can be improved)

Hi, I have though of a nice system to report hackers, It's really easy:

4 commands:

/suspect <player> <reason>
-Upvotes <player> on the suspect list
/desuspect <player>
-Downvotes <player> on the suspect list
/suspect list
-Shows suspect list from most votes to least
/spectate <player>
-Spectates the <player>

This system makes it easier for reporters to report hackers, simple! :)
It's a little hard to explain but the idea is simple.
Any suggestions how to improve the system? Thanks.

How would you know that the system wouldn't be spammed. Because the server has a lot new users, the spam percentage would increase rapidly.

The suspect command could clash and the desuspect.

I don't think players would be allowed the power to spectate. For example if a YouTuber is recording, he doesn't want a lot of players spamming him.

How would you know that the system wouldn't be spammed. Because the server has a lot new users, the spam percentage would increase rapidly.
OK, you're right about the new users, they could spam the list itself, but not players. What about a delay for using the /suspect <player> <reason> command?
The suspect command could clash and the desuspect.

Forbid them to use the chat while using /spectate <player>;)

Still I think that the server wouldn't use a /report, due to the spam and thats what the forums is for.

If players are suspecting players and then others desuspect, it could remove the actual bad players.

Some servers have a limit on the amount of players to allow in the lobby, for example the skywars map Trees only allows 12 players and no more. Players wouldn't be able to join if its full. I think that Cubecraft wouldn't add this.

1. This isn't a /report, but a /suspect. That's something completely different.
I know the /report system ok? when players use /report <player> <reason> the mods online get a message. However, as you explained yourself, this system is terrible due to the spam the mods get. That's why I came up with /suspect <player> <reason>. With this system, the mods online DO NOT get a message, neither do the players ok? so nobody will be "spammed" whatsoever ok? you get it? good.

1. Most hackers don't have friends:p
2. There are a lot more players that don't hack than they are players who do hack.
3rd. If a server is full already with the game players, there isn't enough room for spectators.
Let the spectators in the game anyway, and don't count them as a player. Kinda like the /vanish.

I hope this clears it up a little:)

3. The game would count them as a player, but the server would. Being in vanish still makes you count as a space taken up.

Still, because there are probably more players who upvote the hacker than downvote him, the hacker will stay high on the list.

That could be changed
Cubecraft would then need to balance out the server power to hold the players.

Some maps can hold 32 player without any problems, so don't tell me Cubecraft (one of the largest minecraft servers in the world) can't hold enough players in one game, especially if those players are in spectator mode (aka not interfering with any blocks or mobs whatsoever) . -_-.

Cubecraft can hold 32 players in a game. But if games are needing to increase the limit to fit spectators, then they need to even out the power, or buy more power. Servers of 32 could be increase to 60, like a lobby.

Unfortunately we can't spectate most of the games on the server. We could only use this in things like Assassins and FFA. Also I'm not sure if I would want non-staff members with access to a spectate command. Lastly, I don't feel like anything will be done about these players, because when they get suspected we won't be able to see where they are in the server. Plus plenty of players don't quite know what hacks look like and will suspect players for no reason.
