So, Egg Wars has gone a pretty long way. With the updates it has gotten, Egg Wars is a mini-game favorited by many. And to improve something even farther, you must make suggestions. So let me speak my mind for a bit; that is what the forums are for, right?

1st Suggestion - Cannot Break Block Message: So my first suggestion is to erase the line "You can only break blocks placed during the game" that is displayed when you break one of the maps blocks. Look, I know how you guys like to associate Egg Wars and Sky Wars with each other, but this line is irrelevant (In case you're naïve to the mini-game, Sky Wars allows you to break the map's blocks, whilst Egg Wars doesn't). Every time I accidentally destroy Tall Grass that is in my way while PvP-ing, this line is spammed in my chat. It would be cool if this was removed. And the Tall Grass issue is big in the Team map Medival, since the islands have too much grass. You guys should kind of mow down the islands so that the strikes aren't interrupted by the grass in the way.

2nd Suggestion - 10 Second Pause Before the End of Match: My next suggestion is to give at least a 10 second pause after an Egg Wars game; maybe even do this for all of the mini-games. It's origin is probably unknown, but players would become curious as to how many hearts a player is left with after an intense battle. You only get like 3 seconds to respond before the game cutting you off and throwing you back into the lobby. Just like Hypixel, players should be able to have enough time to ask things like "How many hearts did you have left?" or "Wanna play again with me? Join Lobby __", etc. Things like that matter to some people.

3rd Suggestion - Unlock the Pre-Game Chat: The next suggestion is to unlock the chat when a player enters the match. When the game is still pending players to join, the chat was suddenly locked once the 1.9 Egg Wars update was made. It was very strange and caught most players off-guard. I had confronted this feature in the forums already, but my thread went un-noticed. Why did you guys lock the chat before the match starts? Personally, I like to have a quick chat with my opponents as we wait for the game to start. I feel that it should be unlocked. Speaking of locking chats, the chat should also be locked for eliminated players. If not, set up a chat room for them so that the players who are still in the game can't hear them. Some players like to ghost, which I find is against the rules; it makes the game unfair at some points.

Final Suggestion - Egg Wars Time-Based Events: The final suggestion is a in-game suggestion; like they say, I left the best for last. So, sometimes the game gets longer than it should be; this goes for maps like Construction and Steampunk. There should be an in-game timer that records how long a match lasts. If 10 in-game minutes pass, there should be an event called the "Ender Pearl Shipment", where the Egg Wars shop will now be selling Ender Pearls, as seen in the Overpowered game mode. Now, this would only be exclusive for the Normal game mode, so that it doesn't negate the pearls found within the shop. If 10 more minutes pass, there would be a "Ender Pearl Sale", where the price for Ender Pearls would reduce from 64 diamonds to 32. And lastly, if the game has reached 10 more minutes, the game would have a "Force End" event, which will judge the remaining players based by... well, however the game would decide a winner.

I agree with all of them. Although I think the force end just simply needs to be a deathmatch on one island, it doesn't need to get unfair and biased toward offensive players, although most eggs broken ----> Most Kills ----> DM could also work.

I like your idea about the Death Match. Maybe the DM can take place at Mid where they remove all of the generators and a Glass dome is built around to prevent player's from escaping.

Very good ideas! I like all of them except the last one, some eggwars games are supposed to be long, however not too long, so a DeathMatch would be nice indeed, maybe after about 1 hour? It differs per map.

About the enderpreals in normal mode:
I agree, but a lot of players don't. I have made an entire thread about enderpreals in eggwars myself:

The "Can not break block message" is indeed a bit annoying. Especially when you are fighting someone and you keep hitting grass a lot (10/10 pvp skills for me). Removing this message would be awesome.

More time at the end of a game is also a nice suggestion. A lot of players want to know how low their enemy got or how they killed him/her.

I am not a big fan of the pre- chat being added again, Most players tend to either spam the pre- game chat or ask for team, when it is solo or there are already teams.

This is not against the rules, and sometimes we need to do this to find the last guy because he's camping in the far corner of the map.
