To be honest this seems like a gamemode that people will play once but get bored with very quickly. No offence, but mining is often considered to be one of the more boring sides to minecraft survival, and judging by the number of people in the one and only UHC lobby available I reckon it's a safe bet that survival isn't something that catches the interest of many players.
Perhaps if you were to explain it more and add some 'unique twist' to it, it could work pretty well though :) There are games that have made mining fun in the past after all, I mean prisons is not only a thing but it's very popular.
Not true. Skywars is a small game, true, but it has a big strategy up ahead, similar to SCB. most games require to have strategists in order to succeed.

Could you go into a little more detail than 7 words please? Perhaps some blocks give more points than others, you're supposed to obtain better pickaxes, whether there's pvp or not etc.
Wow, thats an cool idea, maybe you should add pickaxes and different type of blocks, maybe even ores etc, then breaking blocks would be cool. And omg, why you dont call the game "Minecraft"? Amazing right?

Well, this can have some upsides. Like you have to find different stuff like tnt, which destroys blocks (and adds to your score), or an ore which gives you haste. Kinda reminds me of parkour mini game. Perhaps can be a new arcade game?

Anyway...I have a hunch as to what their next update may be. On one hand, they may straight up scrap EggWars because BedWars brings in more players and revenue. On the other hand, or if enough players backlash similarly to 10v10, they will most likely go the Hive route - delete the existing BedWars and rebrand EggWars to BedWars to bring in the BedWars players. Either option kills the EggWars name forever...
