I think you should try the 2.1 update out a little more rather than judging it based on the name of one of the obtainable items. It's the same as it always was, just the lobbies are different and some maps have been changed, and if you try it a little longer you might be surprised. I'd say it's the best update the server has ever had, but that's just my opinion.
And a long long time ago did we care about your negativity? No.

Logged on for the first time in months and.. I see cubelets.. -.- Is it just me or does that remind me a lot of hypixel? Not the name but what it actaully is..
This was requested by a number of players including myself. You never mentioned that you tried out the cubelets, you just said you logged in and saw them. Perhaps you should try getting some first and then judge it; it gives you a reason to play games that you usually wouldn't :)
Judging by the charts of player activity, i'd say it still is pretty good. 17,000 others think so too.

The assassins map had a significant increase in size due to the number of players joining the server. With an increased size comes not only more to explore but it's less crowded. Imagine having 200 players running around at once on the old map #chaos
If you're referring to skywars chests then you don't have to vote overpowered on it, it's just there for those who do enjoy it. If however you're referring to assassins then i have no idea what you're talking about :/ Chests seem the same to me :p
