In case you're unaware, during UHC and Team Skywars, if you're caught killing any of your team mates either purposely or accidentally and get reported for it with good enough evidence, you get instantly banned.

However, we've all had those moments when a team mate is actually trying to kill you and therefore you try to defend yourself by killing them, or perhaps they just startle you and you panic, putting lava near them. I say 'near' because i saw a report where a guy did not even get killed by the team killer that he was reporting, and yet the killer still got banned, but also because if a player comes out of nowhere and you're actually holding lava, your instinct will be to place the lava.

Obviously there should be very strict rules regarding trolling, since it not only disturbs players and ruins their experience, but leads to arguments, accusations and innocent players getting banned.

The change that i propose is made is that you should require 1 warning, and only 1 warning before a player is eligible to be banned for the act of team killing, because lets face it, if you didn't know that it was a rule, and you were frustrated with the game, you'd take it out on your team mates since they cannot do anything about it.

Alternative:
I promise, i didn't steal this idea from aimee. I like, totally came up with it first.

In the 'assassinations' server, occasional announcements are made to the players which refer to the rule on hacking, and how using hacked clients will lead to your account being banned from the server. Since there's a long waiting period for games to fill up (Usually around 5 minutes), an announcement should be made that states the following;

Team killing is against the rules and is a bannable offence!

Although it doesn't prevent players from getting wrongly banned for either not trying to kill their team mates in the first place, or trying to defend themselves against other team killers, it does make people aware of the rule, which is a start.

1 warning, and only 1 warning
Staff talked about this and we agreed that players should be given a warning because they could not know that it is not allowed.

That is a really good idea. I´ll ask Rubik what he thinks about it.

If it gets added there wouldn´t be a need to give warnings in game anymore.

I like this, but hold on here: Your first instinct will be to place the lava? Come on, are these people blind? There own team has a bright green nametag, unless their colourblind, it shouldn't be a problem. And why does autocorrect keep turning colourblind into color-blimdation?

Other than that good idea.

Well the islands are bigger than on normal skywars, but they aren't exactly huge. Your team mates could run from behind you and startle you. Anyways, it's one point of many.

8% of men and 0.5% of women have red-green colour blindness.. So, yeah, what if you are colourblind?
