Kinda a half-baked idea I had in the middle of class. Similar to earning points, you can earn experience. Exploring, winning games, completing Skyblock challenges, completing parkour, and buying kits would all give you experience.

"Why do you need experience?" I hear you asking, because you're all voices in my head that slowly drive me insane.

Experience points would allow you to level up, and reaching certain levels would give you a certain prestige that can't be bought, like a rank. For instance, a level 14 Cubecrafter would be a great person for a level 2 Cubecrafter to ask about the server, games, etc. It would give the player something to work towards, as well as some kind of acknowledgement for being a dedicated or skilled player of Cubecraft. (It would also let the staff gauge how active certain members are.)

"I guess that sounds neat, but so what? It's just a number!" you say, because apparently you like interrupting me as I write posts. (You're really rude. Why are we friends?)

Every time you level up, you would receive a mystery box. A mystery box can contain anything from points to pets to experience. Every time you reach a special level (level 10, level 25, etc.) you'd receive several mystery boxes to open, rewarding you for your dedication and awesomeness as a Cubecrafter. Stone ranks would have a very small chance of receiving a free Iron rank from their mystery boxes.

That's all I've got, let me know what you think.

But the last idea is a bit iffy. We need the money lol
Yeah, I figured that. It'd only be maybe a 0.25% chance, and that's just a maybe idea. I figured it'd be neat to have one lucky person get a free rank and a huge server-wide announcement like...

SuperN00b64 has received Iron rank from a mystery box!

and then everyone's like AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW SNAP, SUCKA. Still, just an idea and a neat little incentive for playing on Cubecraft.

I guess we could make like Super Mistery Boxes that you only get like all 10 Levels. Those would have better Gifts including a Free Iron Rank ( 0.25 % )
Iron Players and up could win from a Super Mistery Box a Rank Up ( 0.25 )

This is a way better idea. I figure 100 would be the highest level, so there'd be 10 chances to get the free rank.

Seems like you've been paying lots of attention in class..

.. Amazing idea, it would be great to have levels, and it's something to work towards and make people come back and get addicted

One step closer to world domination

It'll give people something to work for, kind of like a goal. Also there should be challenges that you can do to get some nice xp. An example of this could be like getting a certain level on skyblock, or getting a number of kills in survival games.

Seeing as that a good idea, what if your obby?
If you are on Obby, with the rank up, you can give it to someone in your friends list.
Could do that, I like it.
NU that's trolley..
Hey younis on a shopping trolly...
A pretty decent half baked potato of an idea.

It's a super-chill class. The professor brings her terrier to class, we read short stories and talk about Star Trek. It's not exactly brain surgery.

The rank-up would only apply to stone ranks. Like, if you're a donor there'd be a 0% chance of receiving an iron rank because duh you've already got a rank equal to or greater than that rank. Also we can't just give away high rank-ups. That's our bread and butter, man.

What if your lapis or more? Will you get demoted :p
Only stones would be able to get the iron rank from the mystery boxes.

Could donators have a chance of getting a large amount of points instead then? c;
