I wasn't gonna post anything and just keep commenting on threads which have a similar outline on things like:
- sentinel is bad, it's basically AFK
- increased cheater number
- the staff teams knowledge on clients
- staff on discord not responding to ingame problems
etc.

But just an hour ago (or 90mins whenever this thread is posted) it was a cheaters paradise, 3 seperate one's doing stuff like
- Bhop
- killaura
- velocity
- flying
- arrows doing instant kills on anything in the lobby
It took Sentinel/whoever the moderator was in question, an hour at least to get them banned or log off. 60mins to make em either log off or getting em banned is insane with the obvious nature in mind.

@SentinelDev, it would be great to see the changelogs from Sentinel when it was updated and when it has been abandoned, this is pretty sad to see when it cannot even pickup whereas everyone in the lobby being able to almost instantly notice how robotic they moved. When players can spot blatant cheating whereas Sentinel is unable to, why have Sentinel to begin with? It is utterly useless when it comes to obvious bhopping, flying and etc.

@Staff Team, there was an attempt made to contact staff which was online at the time and was simply told to do a report instead of quickly loggin in for 5min in vanish and doing their part. This is honestly laughable, not even an attempt was made at helping out, which is what everyone on the staff team volunteered for.
To add another problem ontop, there's more cheaters about on CubeCraft and it is also partially staffs fault at not wanting or not being able to learn on how to spot a cheater + learning the ins and outs of hacked clients. Reports would move along much faster provided the staff in question has either of the previously mentioned skillsets.

TL:DR, Sentinel is one of the worst anticheats every made + staff just not caring. Some big reasons why there's more cheaters than legit players.

A few things regarding your response.
1. The general nature of your comment explains to me you have 0 anticheat knowledge for MC, they are one of, if not the single most difficult thing to make in the entire game, even some of the best like: Guardian (PVPHQ), AntiGamingChair (MineMen), Fairfight (LeoneMC), Polar (200$/mo) still have immense issues and cheaters, and I as an experienced and talented mod dev couldn't dream of making something like that, I highly doubt you could either.

2. Every staff (or most) are volunteer, expecting a relatively small (for such a large server) team of volunteer staff to handle your report in 5 minutes is insane, especially regarding the like hundreds of tickets a day they get, this also shows you have 0 staffing experience.

3. Staff cannot handle everything upon request, they are busy, have other issues, and are handling cheaters, your issue has no precedent over others, you being entitled doesn't change any of that, you clearly are just delusional due to being put in your place by a staff with self respect, likely also following policy.

4. Saying staff can't detect cheaters and don't know anything about clients where you have: 0 anticheat knowledge, no respect for staff, and no staff experience is just sad, a false ban is a huge issue, you just don't understand it.

TL-DR: You are entitled and arrogant due to your lack of understanding for topics you speak so highly in..

None of this is to be insulting, I just hope this can be a reality check for you to understand the things you seem very concerned about in more detail, and hopefully be less entitled and less whiny about staff following protocols, I have nothing against you, criticism is not the same as toxicity or hate, I am roughly criticizing you due to your bad ideas.

Credentials: 3000+ Tickets, 30+ Staff positions, 850k+ combined staffed discord members, 150+ tickets/week, staff at MineMen, PVPHQ, LeoneMC, Among Us, and NeoNetwork, Dev of java, js, html, css, C, C#, C++. batch script, skript. skript reflect, python, I've also made anticheats, mods, plugins, and more.

This would imply that Sentinel receives consistent updates and is at least catching cheaters who fly around in FFA lobbies like mosquitos + BHOPPERS. Sentinel cannot even do that, it is understandable that the closet cheaters are much harder to catch, but not when an entire lobby can clearly see that hackers can just yolo it and do whatever they want.
There's no "cat n mouse" game here between the devs of Sentinel and hacked clients, the hackers just outpace Sentinel by abusing their clients+not getting banned and it shows. Everytime they do not get caught is another handful of players being driven away due to this overwhelming amount of people who do cheat.
This is a common complaint directed at Sentinel, and acknowledged

People like yurisatori0312 got a list like that:
Nobody is asking for 5min response times on every ticket one makes, but within a reasonable times.
And like you said, multiple people who eventually decide to follow protocol will run into reports being left unresolved for 20h on avg.
I've been on similar sized servers and reports went much faster / their anticheat was actually able to pick up on the blatant cheats. That was with a smaller staff team, but the staff were actively trained to spot hacked clients.
3. and are handling cheaters,
Are they though? This would be less of a question to be asking, but you could go back to point #2 and be doubtful of CC staff doing their part of banning hackers. There's toomany of those doing what they want, when they want, where they want.
Players are not seeing results, which makes them want to quit CC in favor of servers who have produced results/responses to the very same problem.

This has nothing to do with overestimating anything of value. This is comparing between servers of similar sizes and actually showing results,

While I do love you double triple down attempt.
Sadly, however:
1. You didn't prove to me you know anything about anticheats, staffing, reports, finding cheaters, or anything else.
2. Many servers don't accept player evidence at all, I do not know if this applies to cubecraft, but minemen doesn't, neither does LeoneMC, so it's common.
3. They have to be 100% sure, that means spectating for 10+ minutes and recording, which is already hard
4. "There's toomany of those doing what they want, when they want, where they want." These staff are VOLUNTEER, UNPAID, that's like expecting someone from charity water to come and deliver you 1 glass of water whenever you're thirst, it's stupid. Staff do not get paid, you treat them like you're personally paying them for this job, so I'll say it again.

Hello, First of all, let's be kind to each other when expressing our opinions, please. I'll do my best to reply to the points in this thread as much as I can.

To begin with, we are aware of the current cheating situation on our server and we are working on trying to decrease the number of cheaters by hoping to recruit more helpers and updating our Anticheat. However, it is a cat and mouse game between the Anticheat and Cheat client developers. You can help out by submitting player reports so we can deal with them as soon as possible.

Updates about Sentinel are internal information and they are not something the community should know. Our moderation team is receiving updates about Sentinel regularly as those are important information for moderation. I can confirm that Sentinel is receiving updates regularly and great progress has been made with the efforts of our anticheat developer who was hired this year. The only thing I can agree here is that it needs more improvement on Java. But I hope we will see more updates on Java too especially after the significant improvements we had on Bedrock lately.

@Staff Team, there was an attempt made to contact staff which was online at the time and was simply told to do a report instead of quickly loggin in for 5min in vanish and doing their part. The staff member gave you the correct response. We do not spectate players on request. If we do, we will have to do the same for everyone who asks (we obviously can't) and it will cause inconsistencies, people blaming some staff members for not spectating a cheater when another staff member did etc. You should submit a report and wait patiently for it to be handled if you want to let our team know about a cheater. The moderator you asked may not have been moderating at that time and they cannot be blamed for it as they are a volunteer.

To add another problem ontop, there's more cheaters about on CubeCraft and it is also partially staffs fault at not wanting or not being able to learn on how to spot a cheater + learning the ins and outs of hacked clients. Our moderators are trained for this role as they went through a helper training process where they gained sufficient moderation knowledge to become moderators, and got promoted after passing their helper trial successfully. If you have any complaints about the knowledge of our team, feel free to create a team feedback about our moderation team at https://www.cubecraft.net/forums/team-feedback.53/ as that is where we handle feedbacks about our team.

- staff on discord not responding to ingame problems

We are trying to handle all discord tickets as soon as possible but some tickets may take longer to be handled depending on the issue/question. It can also take longer if the ticket has to be forwarded to another team or team member, especially if that team/team member does not work on weekends. The response times to tickets are usually less than 24 hours, which is a reasonable amount of time, but it can take longer depending on what the ticket is about.

Are they though? This would be less of a question to be asking, but you could go back to point #2 and be doubtful of CC staff doing their part of banning hackers.
Yes. All moderation tasks are regularly being handled. We punish a lot of rule breakers via website reports or in-game reports every day. About in-game reports, I need to mention that it is unfortunately impossible to handle them 7/24 with a volunteer team of this size but we are doing our best by handling them at different times of the day.

There's toomany of those doing what they want, when they want, where they want.
Of course. We are a volunteer team and this is how it should be. We are also making sure there are not tasks that are not handled for a long time so this is not an issue at all.

We are aware it is frustrating to see cheaters on our server and we are doing our best to remove them from our network as soon as possible. To help us, what you can do is submitting player reports via /report, /sr or in our reports site (java) or forums (bedrock) -> https://www.cubecraft.net/categories/player-reports.150/. Every report you submit helps us make CubeCraft a safer place for everyone!
