Deleting your own posts? and editing them

I find it really annoying when i accidentally press enter and it posts it for me. So why not have it so you can edit your posts or delete them. Im pretty sure there was another thread like this but let me tell you why we should have this-
First of all if you do something like you accidentally pressed enter or you post something but then want to delete it, it creates spam because you do @.PinkStr3ak or you know any mod/admin and you ask them to delete it for you which takes up a few minutes. and sometimes people will be looking at that post that you wanted to delete/edit which gets annoying. but obviously mods will still be able to delete posts.
Secondly this will be helpful for mods because when someone tags someone to delete/edit a post the mod may be doing something but the other person really needs to delete/edit their post before other people see it.

I really hope you consider on adding this because it gets really annoying and i think it will be better for the community <3 Catzore

If people have the option to delete and edit, they will abuse this by editing ban/mute appeals or deleting their posts that may contain evidence to an incident. If you/anyone desperately need something editing, contact a member of staff. I know you have said it takes a few minutes, but we are not busy 24/7 and we are here to help you anyway. :)

I'd like to be able to edit things that are on my own profile. Restricting this to only staff is annoying as it takes away the freedom of it being my profile.
I think they should at least let us remove posts.

If there was a button of some sort to see the original post of the poster, this would be useless. Either way, we would be able to see the original post anyway..

It would be different from changing a grammatical mistake (so no two message spam) to changing a mute appeal to your favour.

Like orange said it would be abused, players would post and delete the post a few too many times, staff can see the deleted posts so it would cause spam for us too. I say no on this, sorry.

maybe we can use this only for our own profiles, and we can see the previous edit so we know if they are abusing it. like facebook did.but i only support editing them

At least this? Editing your own profile could work right? Like snap said its my profile and not anyone elses so you should be able to edit it

You could just proof read your text before you click enter, i still fail to fully see the point of this.

Whether you're tired, rushing or just talking with somebody through your own profile, you're able to delete other people's posts, but if you make a mistake, the only way of removing the post is if a staff member does it for you, and i don't think we need "profile moderators" as well as regular mods, admins, builders and developers. It is just frustrating that you can't remove your own posts if they're getting a lot of unnecessary attention that's causing spam, or if it's just irrelevant.
