Java Are hitbox mods that change the colour of the hitbox when in range of an opponent allowed?

There are crosshair mods that do almost the same thing, when a opponent is within range and if ur crosshair is on them it turns red

There is a list of approved clients, and generally all of them include the option to configure the hitbox so it changes color when a player is within range. The same applies to a crosshair with dynamic color changes when an opponent is within range.

As long as the mod you add only does that and doesn't provide any additional advantages, there shouldn't be any problem.

Yeah like @_NoReason & @Karajoo said. It's fine if the hitbox doesn't show behind blocks for example.
