Java Sentinel ban escalation and possible permanent ban?

Hello. I wanted to ask people who have dealt with either false Sentinel bans or bans that were actually deserved — is it possible for Sentinel to eventually issue a permanent server ban after several punishments?
From what I’ve read on the forums, Sentinel seems to falsely ban players quite often because of connection issues and other things that aren’t actually rule violations. Or does it simply keep increasing the ban duration each time?
The first ban I received lasted 7 days, and the second one was 30 days. What are the durations for future bans?
I’d appreciate any information or personal experience regarding this.
Also, I’d like to apologize in advance if I posted this thread in the wrong section — I’m still pretty new here.

Best thing to do is record your gameplay clips or use xbox game bar to record 30s-1m clips prior to a ban to prove to moderators you werent cheating. its better to be safe. my friend got banned by sent a while ago but had no proof to get unbanned so i feel ya <3
