Reputation

So yesterday i was trying to message someone, and i just couldn't figure out what was wrong with the sentence. I narrowed it down to the word 'reputation'. What's wrong with the word? I can say 'rep' and 'reput', so it seems to be the 'tation' part.. Am i missing something here? I don't see anything offensive or inappropriate about that, but maybe that's just me being an idiot..

Resolved? Thread locked. Btw super, if you want to say Reputation, just say it like this: Repitation. People will correct you most likely sometime, somewhere, but yeah, a better way to say it by just changing the vowel.
