I might make a similar request for that not to happen. You'd have the majority of the player base on the most current version and with the most current pvp mechanics and then the small percentage of people using 1.8 pvp mechanics could just spam-click you with similar damage outputs but in only a fraction of the time. That's also paired with the ridiculous knockback potential of spam-clicking, which would not be enjoyable in any of the sky-based games. It would become a necessity to switch back to 1.8 just to have a decent shot at winning anymore.
